Zester Brightening Cleansing Mud Balm:

My Experience :

The MERAKI Anti Aging Face Oil comes in a dark glass bottle a dropper head and a screw top, with a total of 20ml product. The instructions say to use 2-3 drops at am & pm and I feel the dropper head is perfect to dispose the required quantity because it really needs a good thrust to dispense the product and this makes it sure that you don’t take out more than required.

The oil is a blend of various essential oils that you can easily tell how strong they are just by the smell of it. It has a very citrus-y fragrance that is very therapeutic to be honest.

As instructed and by my own experience as well, 2 – 3 drops are more than enough to massage on your whole face. A little tip to make it easier is to apply facial oils when your face is damp. So when you wash you face don’t dry it up completely, rather leave it a little damp and work the facial oil into it,it will help in even distribution of the oil.

Now coming to the performance. At first it tinges a little, nothing to be afraid of. You can tell by the tinge the purest of essential oils are used in the blend. I haven’t experienced any reaction or redness after using it for good 3 weeks now but if you have sensitive skin or have doubts about it, it’s always a good idea to do a patch test behind your ear. The Meraki facial oil is intended for the Aging skin to prevent premature wrinkling and sagging. Since I am 29, its high time I use such products that help me with slowing down the process. I don’t have wrinkles yet but I have definitely felt my skin to be taut and firmer than before especially my cheek area. The facial oil helps in maintaining a good amount of moisture in your skin and in this weather it is important to keep your skin hydrated from inside & out. I am really enjoying the Meraki Anti Aging Face Oil these days and will definitely continue using it. If you are in the same age bracket and want to use natural products that help with premature Aging and saggy skin, do give it a try.

Coming to the Zester Cleansing Mud Balm, I would say I had my doubts on this one because balm and mud together didn’t make much sense to me to be honest.

Infused with Lemon , Neroli and Rosemary oils, this Cleansing mud balm claims to fight the dullness and acne while giving a deep cleanse to your skin. The texture is dry at first and you need to warm it up a little between your fingers to let it glide on smoothly on your skin but once on your face, it starts to release the oils that you can actually feel working on your skin. Due to the oils, it doesn’t dry on your skin like mud masks, and doesn’t dry up your skin as well.

After 10-15 minutes start to massage the balm with wet hand and it will start to get off itself leaving the skin all clean and hydrated. I have been using it thrice a week for 3 weeks now and I must say I am really liking it. It leaves my skin really plump and moisturized and I usually don’t feel the need to put on any oil or moisturiser after using this. There is definitely a very strong fragrance of lemon in it that might not be everyone’s cup of tea especially if you are allergic to strong aromas. Just like the oil, I would strongly suggest to have a patch test before using it to avoid any problems.

After 3 weeks now my skin feels soft, supple and definitely much brighter than before. There is nothing more satisfying than a clean skin because it actually glows from within. I don’t have active acne but get a pimple or two sometimes, this has definitely helped me control the number of zits I used to get before.
