How many times have you given into the temptation of buying something every Youtuber you follow loves, even though you don’t need it? Well, I would say this is my first time buying something like this and I wonder why didn’t I ever listened to them before !  So after almost a year of contemplation, I got myself the most raved products by Physicians Formula, the Butter Bronzer and Butter Blush. So are these products worth the hype or not, let’s get on to it

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer:

My Experience:

The Murumuru Butter infused Butter bronzer and Blush come in a very beautiful, tropical themed plastic packaging with a clear lid so you can see the actual product easily. The lid closes securely with a clasp, so you don’t have to worry about it opening up accidentally in your bag. Both the products come in a similar round double compartment compacts with product in upper part while a lower compartment housing a mirror and a sponge applicator . The mirror is a pleasant surprise as it makes it super easy to touch up on the go. However, the sponge applicators are something I am still unable to understand that what’s even the point of throwing them in? They are hard and do absolutely nothing in applying the product, I mean how can you use a hard sponge for a powder product and expect it to blend too ?

The Bronzer has a 0.38oz / 11 gm of product while you get 0.26oz/7.5 gm of product in Blush which is pretty fine too. Now the product itself is a beautiful swirling wave patterned pressed powder  in both the products which is really really soft to touch and gives that buttery feel that the product claims. Both the blush and the bronzer have a very sweet butter like scent to them, which I am not a fan of much, which is really long lasting and you keep on smelling like some soft butter for a while after application 

The powder is densely packed but not to hard that you aren’t able to pick enough product with the brush. It glides on smoothly, giving a very nice color to the skin and blends in seamlessly. I feel like the  claims of having butter in the product are somewhat true because the powder does feel buttery/creamy to touch and upon application, it just melts into the skin. Given its soft texture, there is a little fall out in the pan. 

The Bronzer comes in 4 shades, ans the one I got is Light Bronzer. The shadows range is pretty limited but still with 2 new additions to the range, we can now find a good option for our desi skin tones. The Light Bronzer is a neutral toned bronzer with a satin finish upon swatching but translates into a gorgeous demi-matte bronze glow. The color is quite light for me but still it shows up as a gorgeous tinge of bronze to give that sun-kissed glow. I absolutely love the finish and  would be getting the darkest shade now to double up as a contour shade. No wonder it’s a holy grail for so many YouTubers across the globe. 

The Butter Blush also comes in 4 shades, and the one I have is Natural glow which again is the lightest /palest color in the range. It is a very soft champagne color with micro shimmer in it which shows up on the swatch. Even though the color is very very light to be used as a blush, I am happy to tell you guys that it makes the most gorgeous highlighter I have in my stash till date! The blush blends like a dream and just sinks into you skin giving such a beautiful glow to you cheeks that you cannot possibly imagine. It doesn’t accentuate the pores or the texture of the skin at all and gives such a gorgeous lit-from-within kind of glow that I am loving these days.  

All in all, I am very happy with my these purchases and would definitely recommend them to everyone, especially the Butter blush in this particular shade as a highlight is breathtakingly beautiful. It really justifies all the hype around these products and would definitely be getting their butter highlighters next!
